Reusing an old child's rag book as the skirt, inspired the rest of the country style for this OOAK rag doll.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

I will accept returns without question and will give a full refund of the original purchase price, excluding postage, packing and insurance costs. No refund will be issued until I have received the goods and I strongly recommend that you use an insured and signed for delivery service. (Return postage will not be refunded.) Please make consideration of the fact that my goods are either completely vintage or handmade using vintage materials and you should not expect them to be completely flawless.

Full description
This is Daffodil, one of my OOAK, totally unique handmade rag dolls for the collector to enjoy. She is dressed in vintage fabrics and trims, making her a very special keepsake.
She is a calico doll, firmly filled for a quality finish.
Her skirt was created from a child's vintage rag book - I used several pages as a border along the bottom, printed with traditional nursery rhymes, including Daffy-Down-Dilly. This is stitched to a colourful vintage floral ditsy print. I added a row of narrow yellow ric-rac braid along the join line. It is gathered at her waist. Beneath this she wears a petticoat made from pale lemon dyed cotton with hand crochet lace at the hem. She also wears a pair of ankle length bloomers, made from a vintage floral John Lewis fabric, with lemon lace at the hems.
Her bodice is another vintage floral cotton fabric. Over this she wears a cardigan, created from a beautifully soft angora mix sweater. I have added a hand embroidered design to the front and decorative top stitching. She also wears a brooch pinned to her skirt with the initial 'D', made from antique tapestry, a piece of cosy quilt and a button.
In her natural mossy hair she wears a French check muslin rag ribbon, decorated with a vintage millinery daffodil flower. She has hand painted green boots trimmed with wool and more daffodil flowers.
Approx: 56cm tall. Please note she is not designed as a toy, but is a collectable for display.
