Hand thrown hanging planter in chalky white and sandy speckle.
I threw this hanging planter on my potters wheel using stoneware clay. It was left to dry for a couple of days before I fettled the base, added the holes for the twine and stamped it with my potter's mark. It was then fired to 1060 degrees before being dip glazed in a chalky white shiny glaze. The planter was then fired for a second time to 1200 degrees making it strong and durable. I left the inside unglazed to help with drainage.
Planter sold without succulent.
This planter comes with handing cord measuring 1 meter long- if you would like it longer just let me know in buyers notes.
I will be on holiday 14th- 24th September 2016 - I am still accepting orders but current lead times will be a little longer than normal at 4-6 weeks. Thank you for your patience.
Plants are such a lovely way to brighten up an interior. This planter is perfect for succulents, cacti or spider plants - all bang on trend right now. It would make a stunning house warming gift.
