I love making pottery that is practice and useful, but decorative and a delight to use as well. This lidded pot is a good example of this. The decoration in wax resist is one of my favourite forms of decorating a pot as it is soft and flowing and not hard edged.

Full description
A really cute lidded black and white jar with a little bird on top. The jar is hand thrown in tough stoneware clay and the bird is hand modelled. The jar is for honey, jam or sugar or salt and the lid has a space for spoon. The jar is 11cms high and 14cms including the bird.
