Full description
This is an unusual piece.
The necklace features a selection of different coloured jasper gemstones cut into rustic rectangles. Cut by hand where the stones were mined, they have little dinks, dints and imperfections, but are still smooth and polished. These imperfections add to the charm of this necklace, giving it a naive and almost tribal art feel.
The stones colour palete includes, deep green, lilac, golden brown, mustard, red, light green and more. This hand knotted necklace also features Haematite, a gemstone which is an ore of Iron. It is dark gun metal grey in colour with a metallic shine. These stones work well with all the colours of the jasper beads, making them the perfect neutral tone to set these stones off to their best.
The necklace has been finished with a lobster claw clasp and an extender chain in sterling silver . The clasp is stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The necklace measures 48cm or 19 inchesat the shortest length and can be worn up to 53cm or 21 inches at its longest extention.
A great necklace for a round necked T Shirt or with a suit - a little bit different!
