I was inspired to create seven palettes of colour around each of the colours of the spectrum. Some of the accent colours appear in several of the palettes so they all harmonise with each other. In this way I hope to create components and accessories that can be mixed and matched.
This orange palette was inspired by fiery red foliage against a cool grey Autumn sky.

Full description
This unique hollow pendant was inspired by early abstract art. I made it from polymer clay, using colours from my Orange Palette – red, orange, peach, brown and pale grey. The design is geometric, but I have applied the colours in a painterly way.
The pendant is 5.8cm in diameter and 1.2cm thick. I have strung it on a silvery grey satin cord with sliding knots to make an adjustable necklace (62cm at its longest).
