Full description
This lovely rich mauve coloured crochet baby blanket is an ideal gift for the new arrival. It is soft and warm so little baby can be snug as a bug! The blanket pattern was based on the design of Little Monkeys Crochet who created the pattern after seeing a similar blanket in the BBC Call the Midwife series.
The blanket is a series of edged squares with a stylised cross pattern worked into the centre of each. The beauty of this blanket is it is worked as one piece so there is no seaming or joined motifs within it creating a wonderfully soft and flexible blanket. The finished size of 72 cm square is a great size for wrapping around your newborn baby as the size doesn't swamp them. Good for use as a moses basket, pram or car seat blanket too.
This Baby Blanket is made using a durable acrylic yarn that can be machine washed.
(The colour is truest in the first picture. I find some colours are difficult to capture accurately and can show big variances despite my best effort to keep lighting the same.)
