Let me introduce you to a member of The Porcelain Menagerie at The Jewellery Boat!
My little blue and white dove, made from fine white porcelain.
They have been twice fired, the second time with a deep blue glaze to create a dainty little keepsake, ideal as a love token or wedding favour.
Hand printed and painted, they are also a peaceful addition to any Christmas tree or just to hang up at home in the window or as a decoration to a wardrobe key.
Dimensions: 35mm x 35mm approx
Supplied in a postal gift box, bedded in tissue and ready to give.
Please say hello to other members of the family including owls, polar bears, kitty-cats, doves and Scottie dogs, they are all waiting to meet you!
I think I will call these little doves by Hurdy-gurdy-birdies - there is something a little Scandinavian about them , perhaps it is the colour combination or the patterning, but I love the blue and white together. I also make them in red and white, please see my other listings.
They are darling little hanging birds, and look good all year round, a Hurdy-Gurdy-Birdie is not just for Christmas!

These little porcelain birds are made by hand and are fragile as they are high fired china. Consequently if they are dropped they are likely to break. Please handle with care, they are not toys and should therefore not be given to children to play with. Thank you.
