I have made a white enamel brooch and scattered over it small piles of blue, pink, yeloow enamel. When the brooch is a red hot in the kiln I have then drawn through the surface to generate the pattens you see. The technique is simiar to marbling paper or feather icing a cake, but more extreme. because the enamel will set before it has flowed flat on the base, there is an element of texture in the finished item although, of course, being glass, the enamel sets smooth.
The brooch is 25mm in diameter. It is soldered to a 20mm brooch bar that fastens with a rolling catch.
The brooch is sold boxed, as shown.
