Description

This small bowl was hand thrown on the wheel and is a lovely soft contemporary form. It has been glazed with two glazes, the first a dark ash glaze and the second a white, dolomite glaze. The result is a glossy glaze with hints of grey, blue and yellow in places. The runs of colour on the inside wall are especially attractive.

The piece was fired to around 1250 degrees C and will hold liquid. Measure approx. 3 inches in height and approx. 3.75 inches across the base. The glaze has a pronounced crackle and is designed more as a decorative piece than for use with food.

Mark Smalley's personal seal has been impressed to the underside.

Postage and packing for this piece is free for delivery within the UK. Overseas customers are very welcome to contact me for a personalised shipping quotation.
