Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.
I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.
As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

Full description
Initial letter L handpainted in purple with a purple dragon on high quality watercolour paper then framed within a square ivory mount.
Dragons are a universal symbol - as a winged serpent they represent the life-giving waters and the breath of life; and they are depicted as sky-gods, alongside emperors and kings. In the Orient they are a symbol of celestial power and can be either solar or lunar; male or female. In the Far East they symbolise supernatural power; wisdom; strength and hidden knowledge.
DRAGONS - can be any colour you'd wish so feel free to convo me if you have another preference. I'm happy to paint any colour you'd like!
Finished size is 120 x 120mm or 4 and 3/4" square including the mount.
Orders will be sent within 3-5 days of being paid for in full, and be posted by First Class if to within the UK and by Airmail to everywhere else
