Full description
This very unique wooden yarn bowl is made from locally grown Ash wood. The size is suitable for any size yarn, from fine to chunky. The wood was turned whilst green and allowed to dry to very slowly which has accentuated the beautiful grain.
Multiple treatments of finishing oil have been applied to protect the bowl. Finally, I have applied a wax finish that has been buffed to a very tactile high sheen will allow the yarn to glide unhindered.
