Full description
This hand thrown olive oil pourer would make a beautiful addition to any dining table or kitchen work top. It is glazed in a warm white stony matt glaze that feels like a smooth pebble to the touch and its satisfyingly rounded belly sits firmly in the hand.
It is made by me from a stoneware clay that has a slight speckle to it which, when fired, burns through nicely into the glaze to give it warmth, depth and texture.
Inside the bottle is glazed with a warm white gloss tin glaze for ease of cleaning.
Both glazes are made from my own unique recipes which are both food safe and dishwasher safe.
My potters mark, which is listed in the recent edition of British Potters' Studio Marks - the go to guide book for collectors and auction houses, is stamped at the bottom of the bottle.
