This little chap is ready to post - hooray!
Elephant stands 16cm / 6.5" tall on his vintage 1950's red Meccano wheels, and measures about 16cm / 6.5" from his trunk to his tail. He is the perfect size for a windowsill, shelf or a mantelpiece.
Elephant has been made from Osnaburg, then painted grey, gently sanded, dyed with a weak coffee solution, then finally baked in the oven to give him a wonderfully vintage look. He has little black hand-stitched eyes and wears a red spotty circus ruff.
Elephant is one of my own designs and was stitched on an old Singer treadle sewing machine. He is intended as a collectors item/ for decoration and is not suitable for children.
