I love making birds and was inspired to make these particular ones after purchasing lavender that has been grown in the fields at Lullingstone in Kent. I saw this lavender being grown last year and it was a beautiful image to see the lavender fields in the countryside.

Full description
A hand made textile bird made from multi coloured fabric with a french themed foliage print. The bird is filled with polyester stuffing with ceramic balls in the base for weight/balance. I have also added lavender grown locally in Kent. The beak is made from polymer clay and the eyes are hand stitched using black embroidery thread.
