This design was inspired by a walk with my border/lakeland terrier - Wolf- in haughmond woods. We never stick to the paths and always venture off following the deer tracks and often fight our way through the bracken and are never really sure of where we are.
I wanted to try and create a design that evoked the same feelings and also gave a real hand crafted feel ( something that couldn't be mass produced or reproduced by machinery ). This is why I use different techniques of printing and finish with hand drawn and painted birds. This process ensures each pieces total uniqueness.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A totally unique and individual hand printed, painted and rolled lampshade, designed and made by me in my shropshire studio. This design starts with a textured background, I then use several different printing techniques in layers and finish with hand painted birds. All paints and inks are water based acrylics on a heavy weight paper, backed with fire retardant pvc.
Due to the complexity and layering of this design no two will be the same, but each will be as beautiful and use the same element's as the picture.
This shade is made to order and can be made suitable for a table/floor lamp or as a pendant. Please specify on ordering.
MEASUREMENTS
30cm diameter by 21 cm height.( can be made on a larger frame...Please message me for details).
Each lampshade comes signed.
FITTINGS
The ring is a standard 40mm European fitting which is fitted with a 25mm converter plug for UK fittings. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting. Any queries, please contact me.
This item will be shipped in a box and wrapped in bubble wrap for protection.
