Having been asked by my brother-in-law to make some 'interesting' ties as he was struggling to find any available I thought they would make a great addition to CatkinJane. I'm pleased to say they are proving to be popular with many people for all sorts of occasions.

Full description
This handmade tie is made from Liberty of London's silky cotton lawn fabric which is finely woven, light weight and ultra soft and makes excellent ties.
Although this is a contemporary looking geometric design from Liberty is actually based on a 19th century print impression from their archives. The design combines greys (on the blue side of grey) on an off white background.
The tie is traditionally made - bias cut, hand rolled, and hand sewn closed with a hidden slip stitch which ensures that you will get a perfect knot.
It is a generous length of 59" (150cm) and is regular width of 3" (7.75cm) measured at the widest point
It is also available as a slim tie, 2.5" (6.25cm) at its widest, if you would prefer this please indicate in the 'Note to seller' box during checkout.
