These haematite beads were crying out for a stylish pendant and I think that the brushed oxidisation gives just the right two-tone effect to complement the beads and complete the Art Deco styling.

Handmade statement necklace/choker featuring a handcut sterling-silver pendant and hematite gemstone beads.
After initial cutting and shaping, the asymmetrical fan design was carved into the pendant, which was then oxidised. The pendant was then selectively brushed to give a two-tone, aged effect that, when combined with the haematite beads, is reminiscent of the Art Deco style.
The 4mm haematite beads have been strung on strong and flexible jewellery wire, which has been threaded through the integrated tube bail. In keeping with the overall theme, the other metal components, including the trigger clasp, are antique silver.
Note: as natural hematite is now a rare find and comes with a premium price, these beads – like virtually all hematite currently on the market – have been created from the man-made version of the stone (sometimes known as hematine or hemalyke).
This lovely gunmetal-coloured stone has exactly the same look and all the same properties as natural hematite at a fraction of the cost.
The overall length of the necklace is 15 1/4in (38.5cm), so that it hangs just below the neckline. The pendant measures approx 30mm across and 14mm high.
Your necklace will arrive in a gift box, posted in a bubble envelope.
