Full description
This is a mixed media framed artwork made from a re-purposed frame, recycled items, shrink plastic and various embellishments.
The angel image in the centre has been stamped onto shrink plastic then delicately coloured with pencil and watercolour pens before being shrunk.
The cloudy sky background is a recycled piece of corrugated cardboard which has been artistically torn then painted and highlighted with paint and iridescent glitter. White muslin, faux pearls in various sizes and iridescent glitter surround the edges.
The frame has been painted in pale blue and embellished with torn paper and glitter. The back of the frame has been covered with a snowflake design paper. It measures 12.5cm wide by 11.5cm high by 2.5cm deep and is freestanding.
I have added 2 photographs taken before the frame was assembled to show the texture
and colour.
