This lavender coin purse is perfect for keeping in your car or handbag. The lavender gently fragrances and there is plenty of room in it to keep parking change.

It is made using two small doilies, that have a flower design, which are each lined with purple fabric, filled with lavender and then another lining is sewn on to it. The clasp has an intricate pattern embossed onto it. The size of it is 10x8cm.

I made this first for my mum a few years ago. I love using lavender whenever possible in my projects. I had made some similar lavender flowers, but I wanted to make something a little different for my mum. Making beautiful things is even better when they are going to be used everyday. Mum keeps her coin purse in the car to store her parking money, and also to make her car smell nice!
