I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

One of my most loyal customers suggested this colour mix. It is not one I had thought of before, but having tried it I can see that it works very well. I continue to enjoy exploring the many variations that can be achieved using the Russian Spiral stitch – still one of my favourite beadweaving techniques.

Full description
This fun rope necklace is a stripy mix of sparkly aquamarine and matte dark green seed beads between narrower spirals of smaller pale lemon beads. All the beads are good quality and regular in size and shape thus giving an even pattern. The stitch used in this necklace is Russian Spiral. Because this stitch makes a hollow structure the necklace remains quite light to wear. It weighs only 35gms. A silver plated trigger clasp completes the piece. This could be changed to a magnetic clasp if so desired at a small extra charge. If you would like to consider this option then please contact me before buying to discuss your requirements and so that we can negotiate the final cost.
The necklace is 48.8cms (19.2ins) long. It is 1cm (0.4ins) in diameter.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £7 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE. This amount is calculated by subtracting materials and admin costs from the price of the item. I do not charge for my time in making it.
