This listing is for a KNITTING PATTERN in pdf format featuring cute woodland animals and NOT the actual finished mittens.
These woodland themed fingerless mittens feature a little woodlander animal motif on the back of the hand and some woodland fare on the palm. Choose between squirrels and nuts, hedgehogs and mushrooms, rabbits and grass or owls and leaves.
The mittens are knit flat on two needles with a side seam, using DK weight yarn. The motifs are added after knitting using Swiss darning (Duplicate stitch), however they could be added whilst knitting using the intarsia method.
The pattern includes extra charts so that the Wee Woodlander animal motifs could be used in Fair Isle projects.
The pattern comes in three sizes: 6in, 7in and 8in hand circumference.
There are no postage costs - the pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 48 hours of payment being received (usually a lot sooner), to the email address registered with Folksy unless you let me know otherwise. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this pdf file, if you do not have this programme it is free to download from www.adobe.com
I endeavour to type up the patterns correctly, however, should you spot an error please let me know!
