I was given a collection of button hooks by my mother recently and she told me about how they were used to do up the many small buttons on Victorian ladies boots and gloves. It made me grateful for the modern shoes we have today, with our boots having the luxury of a zip. So this pin cushion is a homage to all those hard worked Victorian women.

Full description
This pretty, feminine pin cushion would look lovely in any keen crafters sewing box. It has a distinct vintage feel and it is laced up the front with red ribbon to resemble an elegant Victorian ladies boot.
It would be a useful addition to your own sewing needs, or perfect for a friend who is just starting to get the sewing bug. It would make a lovely gift to start their own collection with, and each time they use it they will be reminded of you.
The pin cushion is cut from a pink and white gingham cotton and is laced with red ribbon and embellished with a red plastic heart shaped button. It is all hand stitched and firmly stuffed with hollow fibre filling.

Length - 13cm (5")
Width (Heel to Toe of Boot) - 8cm (3")
The pin cushion will be sent to you signed for delivery, in an organza gift bag within a large envelope to ensure its safe arrival.
