Full description
A handmade one of a kind Mixed Media Art Journal. This journal is enirely handmade with each page hand cut, painted and decorated individually. These books take between 8 and 10 hours to complete and will be completely unique. This one is ready to ship for you to add your own artwork, efemera or memorabilia.
Each page measures approximately 6 x 6 inches and is made from 120gsm paper. Please note pages will not be uniform due to the handmade nature of the item. I have gesso primed the front of each page before tinting and adding decorative background using inks. The back of the page is tinted and decorated without primer. I have added some additional hand stamping to inspire along the way too. Inside the front cover you will find a small ‘pocket’ to hold keepsakes.
The covers are also all one off creations made using mount board for the base with collage style decoration and embellishment with vintage style elements including ribbons, acrylic gems and scraps from old vintage books.
All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
