This beaded bead is one of a series of four (so far). I made the first one years ago, and swore never to make one again, as I found it a complete nightmare to make - my working thread constantly got wrapped around the fringe, I couldn't get at the core beads, I had chosen a graduated pattern for every fringe and kept getting it wrong, and it generally made me swear a lot. However, I always loved wearing the original, and got more comments from strangers about it than any of my other pieces.
A few months ago I was watching Finding Nemo with my sons whilst tidying my beads, took one look at the anemones and the mixed tube of Miyuki drops in my hand and started beading one again. This one had smaller core bead, and added drops onto the end, but my son said it still didn't look like an anemone because the colours (pinks, purples and blues) were wrong. So he chose the colours for the next one (salmon, orange and bright mixed drops), and the series really got started.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
An invisible wooden core bead, covered in a woven skin of seed beeds, and then covered again with fronds and fronds of beaded fringe, each ending with a fat, juicy drop bead, in shades of blue. The beads move with you, and the light will play through the gorgeous glassy drop beads, which are in shades of blues, turquoises and mint green. This is definitely a statement piece (I get more comments about this series of pieces than anything else I've made), but still comfortable to wear everyday. This is the largest anemone bead I've made so far - the fringe extends the bead to just over 4cm in diameter, and it's threaded onto a dark blue 45cm wire necklace.
