We have some family heirlooms which are christmas decorations that were made in America by a friend of my mum's when we were little. They were made using plastic canvas and so this technique has a nostalgic quality to me, I love the idea of making something that lasts years and years, that you bring out every year and it has real memories attached to it. I thought I'd make kits so that other people could make their own family heirlooms!

This listing is for a kit containing all you need to make this garland made up of 5 little robin birds. Made using basic needlepoint stitches onto plastic canvas, this garland is a simple project with no prior skill or experience required. It would look great all year round, on a fireplace or over a mirror but it will be particularly at home at Christmas time.
If you love cross stitch you will love this.
Each bird measures approx 7 x 6 cm at the widest part. There are 5 birds in each pack with bunting string that measures 1.5 metres so you can choose how far apart they are.
