Full description
This brooch is made from an original postage stamp taken from an album of stamps from the 1940's to 1960's. The brooch features a British stamp for 1 shilling, with Queen Elizabeth II in sepia tones.
I have attached the stamp to a wooden playing piece from a vintage French Word game, and given it several coats of varnish. It is now shower proof, (though not completely water proof). The brooch back pin is silver plated with a roll over safety clasp.
Size of brooch is 1 inch or 2.5 cm
An original postage stamp, complete with post marks, recycled into a piece of jewellery.
