I’m back on Folksy for 2024.
I thought I'd try putting my dry turquoise glaze over a blue slip with sgraffito -scratching a pattern away through the slip back to the clay and I love the result.

Full description
Vase made in stoneware ceramic, slab built with sgraffito slip decoration and glazed with a dry turquoise giving a very pleasing sea colour. This would make a lovely wedding or anniversary gift.
Inside there is a shiny white glaze to make cleaning easy.
Suitable for fresh flowers, herbs, pencils, brushes or driftwood.
The vase measures 9cm high by 10cm wide
