Full description
This brooch has been designed and hand-stitched by me. I painted a leaf wreath with fabric paint and have then stitched flowers cut from fabric, mainly Liberty fabric, to the wreath and have embellished them with seed beads, French knots and the odd button.The background fabric is a pale pink linen mix and the circle has been blanket-stitched to a pink felt backing. I have added a small amount of stuffing and a circular card inside to give the brooch some stiffness. I have then stitched a safety brooch pin.
It measures 6cm and approximately 1cm thick.
