We'd kept this bottle for quite a while thinking that it would make a great lamp, and when I saw this fabric I knew that it was perfect for this project.

A great addition to a study or den, this up-cycled Gordon Highlanders Whisky bottle makes an interesting and unique lamp base. The clean and empty bottle is fitted with a push in lamp holder with a 2 metre cable and a fitted 3A fused 3 pin UK plug. It comes complete with the original whisky bottle box.
The handmade shade is covered with a cotton fabric featuring a stags head design, has rolled edges and a white liner. The liner has passed the Lighting Association's glow wire test. The lampshade measures 20 cm (8") in diameter and is 19 cm (7 1/2") high, and the whole lamp stands 44 cm (17 1/4") high.
I would recommend using an LED bulb max: 60w/11w.
Makes a great gift for ex members of the Gordon Highlanders.
William Grant and Sons who produce this very fine whisky are in no way associated/affiliated with this item nor do they endorse it.
