It is an uninhabited island commonly referred to as 'Paddy's milestone ' a reference to being a historic marker in days gone by for Irish immigrants as they crossed the Irish sea to Scotland
Living in the Glasgow area i often cycle around the west coast and highlands on long cycle trips breaks . The Ayrshire Coast where i sometimes cycle is a stunning length of coast with fantastic landmarks such as Ailsa Craig.
