Full description
This triangular shaped scarf is my version of a hugely popular design the Road Trip Scarf by Zelna Olivier. I have kept quite true to the pattern itself only changing the edging but I used a different size hook to create a softer more flexible fabric. The generous size means that it can be worn as a scarf around the neck or a shawl draped around the shoulders.
The yarn, 'Woodlander' by UK based company James C Brett is an acrylic wool blend. It gives the the scarf durability, softness and warmth. As with most wool products care needs to be taken when washing but It is able to be machine washed on a gentle program. This range of yarn has beautiful and soft tonal colours based on the name's theme. This particular yarn is predominately pink and brown blended together.
