I really enjoy working with ink on yupo though you can never predict the end results as the ink spreads of it's own accord, I love the challenge in 'taming' the ink to create beautiful artworks

Full description
An original miniature artwork Black Dragon created with alcohol ink on synthetic paper. The painting itself is ACEO size 2.5 x 3.5 and sold unmounted. I can mount ACEO for framing, please contact for for information.
ACEO - Art, Cards Editions and Originals. ACEO a small artwork that can be collected and kept in an album or framed as a miniature. ACEO's are very popular as a means to collect affordable art and are collected the world over.
Stand is for display purposes only and not included, I do hold a few stands in stock, please contact me for details. This painting is not suitable for a stand as it is the paper is very thin and would need mounting on thick card which will add a small cost.
To achieve the translucent effect on this painting I have created the image by dropping ink onto a specially designed paper called Yupo. Yupo is a man made synthetic paper which is specially designed to help paint or ink to 'flow' creating wonderful patterns that are difficult to achieve on regular paper.
I generally only ever create one of each design/colour, and all my designs are my own, usually based on my interpretation of places I have visited, or things I love so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.
All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
