Wading birds always inspire me. I love their shapes and elegance and this little sandpiper may be brown but it's definitely not dull!

Full description
This sandpiper is hand carved from jelutong (wood) and is painted with acrylics. It has hand tinted eyes and is finished to a soft shine with wax. It has bent aluminium legs and is mounted on driftwood. It is 14cm tall, 21cm wide and 6cm deep overall. It is a numbered and initialled piece and is unique.
