‘Sitting in Style is loosely based on a Light Sussex Hen hen and is an applique textile artwork, created using raw edge appliqué techniques and embellished with free style machine embroidery, which is where the artist uses the sewing machine needle as her pencil!
The picture comes ready for you to frame in a 16 by 12 inch frame. The embroidery aperture is A4. The photo above shows you what it potentially looks like when mounted and framed.
It is one of a series of 4 chicken pictures which can be collected as a group if required. Commissions are also available.
