Full description
A unique, hand forged swirling ring design, set with 3mm mystic topaz gemstone.
This unique ring has been made using traditional silver smithing techniques. The ring has been created from 1.5mm square profile sterling silver wire, hand shaped into a doubled swirl design and hammered on a ring mandrel to define its shape and work harden it. The wire has been soldered to create the shank. The setting has been cut from sterling silver tubing and then the inner has been recessed with diamond burs to accommodate the topaz gemstone.
The design was created to be adjustable, to be flexible with its sizing. At its present size, it measures a UK size N, but the ring could be carefully squeezed or opened a couple of sizes either way. The shank of the ring measures 3mm in diameter and the head of the ring measures 14mm in diameter at its widest point.
The ring has been hand polished to a high shine. The mystic topaz sparkles with deep purples and forest green tones.
The ring has been assayed and hall marked at the London Assay office and bears my unique makers mark.
The ring will come beautifully gift boxed, ready to be presented as a gift.
