We orginally found a job lot of WWII era Bivouac tents in a massive military surplus warehouse which we made into trousers. Not wanting to waste any of this fantastic material we set about trying to find a useful product to make from the scraps and hit upon wash bags.

Made from WWII era military surplus Bivouac tents these wash bags or Dopp bags make a great addition to your holiday / Weekend bag.
They would make a good gift for a Father, especially if he is interested in 20th Century history. The bags all have unique characteristics such as tent seams and repair marks.

Vintage canvas exterior, metal fastenings, leather loop and label and goretex interior. The materials are recycled. If necessary gently handwash in warm water and dry naturally.

The linings are made from 1980's goretex bivouac sacks which are also recycled.
Each bag has a leather label detailing their unique heritage and a loop at the side so that the bag can be hung up. It is fastened with a pair of brass press studs.
The bags are handmade in our Cambridgeshire workshop.
