I love the shape and colour of this agate pendant, and wanted to do something simple with it. I decided to use purple wax cord to complement the colours of the heart.

Full description
This is a beautiful purple heart agate pendant necklace. It is created with a real purple agate gemstone, silver plated brass, silver plated copper, purple waxed cord and a real blue agate gemstone on the extender. This would really make a statement with any outfit.
The necklace is just over 19 and a half inches (50 cm) long and expands to 21 inches (53.4 cm). It is fastened with a bolt ring clasp. The agate pendant measures nearly 2 inches (4.5 cm) long and 1 and a half inches (4.1 cm) wide.
Agate is a member of the quartz family and was discovered in 4 BC. It is made from silicon dioxide, and often originates in cavities of molten rock. Agate has many mythical qualities. It is supposed to make the wearer more pleasant and agreeable. It is believed to quench thirst, protect against viruses and to cure insomnia.
The necklace will be presented in a velveteen bag.
