Full description
An individually handmade vase.
I have hand-built this using slabs of grogged clay glazing it with a dry blue and a matt white glaze on the outside and a shiny glaze inside so it can be easily cleaned.
Fired in a gas reduction kiln to 1290 C. Heather purples have developed at the base of the vase which is one of the brilliant aspects of the reduction process- I never quite know what will appear out of the kiln!
The vase measures 11cm wide by 18cm high.
