Full description
Handmade ceramic hanging heart decorated with a pretty bird.
I hand rolled white earthenware clay and cut the clay using a 5.5cm X 4.5cm heart shaped cutter. After cleaning the edges I applied a clear glaze before firing to 1100 degrees.
After the first firing I added the bird decal. The decal is made from a photograph I have taken of this original hand embroidered bird. Next I have fired again, this time to 800 degrees before adding an ivory ribbon for hanging.
Can be used to hang as a decoration, for wedding favours or for adding as a tag to a wrapped gift.
Due to the handmade nature of my items, there may be slight variation to the pictures shown.
