I really enjoy working with ink on synthetic paper though you can never predict the end results as the ink spreads of it's own accord, I love the challenge in 'taming' the ink to create beautiful artworks

Full description

This painting has been commissioned by GT. I have created this vibrant mixed media Great Blue Heron Study using alcohol ink pens over a background prepared using acrylic inks, this has been created on synthetic paper which lets the inks 'flow, though quite tricky to work with and difficult to control, but the results are lovely textures and patterns that would be difficult to create on regular paper'. The bird has been drawn using tiny pen strokes and is completely unique.

The painting itself is 2.5 x 3.5 inches (ACEO - Art Cards, Collections, Editions & Originals) Collectors Paintings and is mounted in a plain white mount ready to fit a 7 x 5 frame

I generally only ever create one of each design/colour, and all my designs are my own, usually based on my interpretation of places I have visited, or things I love so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.

All of my artwork is original (not prints) and one of a kind.

All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
