Full description
A beautifully soft wool and silk scarf. This white silk voil scarf has been nuno felted with a very fine cobweb layer of a blend of black, white and grey merino wool to produce this amazing lightweight monochrome scarf. The nuno felting process allows the wool fibres to migrate through the silk fabric and bind with it. It has been felted on one side only resulting in an amazingly lightweight scarf. Shrinkage of the wool during the felting process results in a crinkled effect to the silk. Being made from completely natural materials this scarf will be warm in winter but cool in summer.
This scarf is a longer length than my dress scarves, measuring approximately 178cm x 43cm.
