This handmade patchwork quilt is from a series of free quilt patterns on sewmotion.com that I designed to introduce beginners to the wonderful craft of patchwork & quilting.
However, as I only have so much room for the many quilts I make, I've decided to part with some of them in the hope they go to loving homes.

Full description
This modern handmade quilt features the nine-patch quilting block with a pieced border. I started off with 6 fabrics from Lewis & Irene's Fox And Friends collection, then raided my stash for co-ordinating fabrics to make up the 20 blocks and border.
I used a very soft off-white cotton for the sashing and borders, which after it's first wash, has given the quilt a lovely soft antique feel, ideal for snuggling under.
The pieced back features three larger nine-patch blocks, and I have quilted a simple grid pattern across the whole quilt.
I have designed and made this one-off quilt myself, and enjoyed every minute of it - of which there were many, as with most handmade quilts. This is reflected in the price.
This lovely quilt measures approx. 40" x 48" (1m x 1.20m) and would be perfect for a child's bed or a snuggle blanket on the sofa. All fabrics are 100% cotton, as is the wadding.
Machine washable and dryer safe at a low temperature.
BRITISH MADE
I do not offer free UK postage on my handmade quilts. Instead I use Royal Mail's Special Delivery service, which is insured for up to £500 and guarantees next day delivery.
