Profits will be donated to Toybox, a charity that works with street children across the globe to give them a better quality of life. The amount donated will be stated on the item.
I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £257.56 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £237.06 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 8/11/24.

This piece was inspired by a tutorial from Ellad2, a brilliant Italian jewellery designer, who gives permission for items made from her patterns to be sold.

This bead woven pendant is made out of tiny gold seed beads, high quality Swarovski glass pearls and sparkly 4mm Swarovski xilion crystals in shades of rose and milky pink. The seed beads are Japanese Miyuki, well known for their quality and therefore popular for bead weaving. The rose pink crystals have an AB (aurora borealis) coating to give them an iridescent gleam. It is strung from a handwoven rope made from the same tiny seed beads as the pendant, giving the whole piece a substantial and elegant feel. It is finished with a plated gold trigger clasp and extension chain with a pretty drop detail.
The pendant is 3.6cms (1.4ins) in diameter, the rope is 46.5cms (18.3ins) long, extendable to 50.5cms (19.9ins) with the extension chain. The rope is 5mm (0.2ins) thick.
The pendant will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box.
