when I created these I wanted to make a t-bar style shoe which could be for either a boy or girl. However I recently bought a bag or really pretty painted wooden buttons featuring assorted designs. I was inspired by the colours of the design on the button and matched the yarn to this blue/green shade. I think they turned out really well!
