Full description
I have made this brooch by laying pale blue enamel over clear enamel and drawing through the layer of pale blue to make a clear flash along the dolphin's flank. The layer of pale blue is very thin so that substantially the piece takes on the golden brown of the copper base, just flecked with blue, suggesting a sheen of water.
The dolphin measures 45mm from head to tail and is18mm at its widest.
The brooch is counter enamelled. It fastens with a 20mm brooch bar that I have soldered to it. The pin is secured with a safety catch.
The brooch is sold boxed as shown.
UK delivery is by Royal mail, first class, signed for.
