I love folk art designs and decided birds and a heart would make a pretty front cover for a needle case.

Full description
This hand sewn needlecase measures 8.5 cm x 10cm when closed. I have designed a folk art motif on the front cover which is made up of felt, embroidery, star buttons and beads on a cotton/ linen mix fabric.The back is made of 4 patchwork rectangles and there is a star button at the centre. Inside there are 4 yellow felt pages for needles and pins. The inside layer is made of polka dot cotton and there is a layer of batting in between this layer and the outside layer to give a padded feel. There are 2 ribbons attached so that the needlecase can be tied closed.
