Full description
This brooch is 30mm square, with a scrolled decoration. The blue is over several layers of clear enamel. This increases the depth of the blue colour and allows the colours of the copper base to come through in tones of brown. The scrolling is tthrough rods of white and yellow enamel, allowing a more formal pattern than you may often see in my scrolled work.
The brooch is counter enamelled. It is mounted on a 26mm brooch bar with a safety catch. The bar is soldered to the brooch.
