This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

I originally designed this as a Golden Fields suncatcher, This is my spring green version.

The top of the heart depicts a big yellow sun and a blue sky.
The rest of the heart is an arrangement of fields in bright green spring shades and I've included a little lake in shimmering iridescent clear glass as no landscape is complete without a patch of water.

I've used lots of different textures so this piece has a lot of movement.
It has a twisted wire surround for strength and neatness.

This is 12 cm in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart.

I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.

The first 4 photos are of the heart for sale here. The 5th is the Golden Fields version which I have sold.

I designed this "Fields Heart" as a Golden version for a commission. I've since made a Rainbow version which is currently on sale as a separate listing. Now Spring is bursting I decided I needed a bright green suncatcher so made this Geeen Fields version. Hope you like it.
