This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'Happenings in Donkey World No.1' printed in blue, orange and dark grey.
A continuation of my donkey theme for this print, but perhaps a little more loose and abstract in places. I decided to try and create a secret world that only donkeys know about, and it turned out like this! The print is also a rarity for me, being in landscape orientation (rather than portrait).
The print is one of two screen-prints I have created on this theme, the other being:
'Happenings in Donkey World No.2', found at:
Blue, orange and dark grey System 3 inks on off-white 270gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 40, signed, titled and numbered.
The print image measures H32xW24cm.
The paper measures H29.7xW42cm.
Printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so.
