'Looking west' evokes the wild coast and cliffs of the highlands during the short and precious quiet days of high summer, when the clarity of the light seems to bring colours alive. Inspired by a childhood in the highlands of Scotland, I make paintings which reflect the colours and atmosphere of wild landscapes in a semi-abstract style. I wanted to make original artwork accessible and affordable to a wider audience, so was inspired to craft them into cards.
